Things that are cool here:
1) News and reviews! How else are we going to know when to empty our wallets?
2) Fanworks of all kinds - fic, art, knitting, whatever. There's also no restriction to rating, content, or het, slash, or gen - just please be sensible and mark/cut/age-restrict things that need it. Don't play dumb, y'all KNOW what those would be.
3) General discussion
4) Questions - about plot, about gameplay, etc. I know gamefaqs exists but it's not infallible for things like boss strategies. But don't be dumb - gamefaqs CAN answer your "where do I go next" questions.
5) Translations - I can dream, right?
6) Icon/theme posts - I'm personally not big on using Japanese fanart in them, but I'm more interested in avoiding wank about it.

SPOILER POLICY
Let's say - cut for spoilers involving major plot deaths, revelations, or the very ending of a game - you know, "Aeris dies"-level spoilers.
"The hero's second persona is Colonel Sanders" is not that kind of spoiler...usually.

Things that are not cool here:
1) WANK. In fandoms like this, I've noticed that there's a certain amount of old-school vs. new-school wankery. Let's try to avoid that? We're all grown nerds playing video games. But this doesn't mean you can't post a negative review here - just don't troll. Conversely, don't be butthurt if someone hates on your favorite game/character.
2) Spamming for your multi-fandom RP. I'd be cool if it were advertising a Megaten-only RP, but if you want an Akihiko to hang out with your Naruto, or whatever, gtfo.
3) "Omg, the best live-action (character) would be (actor)!" - What?!
